City’Scape Award 2026 introduces the new FSB Forum Italy Sport&Play Special Award

As part of the City’Scape Award, the international competition organised by PAYSAGE TOPSCAPE in collaboration with the CNAPPC – National Council of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservationists – the FSB Forum Italy Sport&Play Special Award has been established, an award dedicated to the best architectural projects for sport, play and leisure.

The initiative stems from PAYSAGE TOPSCAPE’s new collaboration with Koelnmesse Italy and AIS, which aims to promote innovative and sustainable projects capable of generating a positive impact on the urban and social fabric by fostering dialogue between sport, architecture and public space through interdisciplinary approaches combining design, engineering and urban planning.

The new category accepted entries relating to large stadiums and sports arenas, multi-purpose or specialised indoor facilities, outdoor pitches and spaces dedicated to sport and play, playgrounds, fitness areas, as well as swimming pools, wellness centres, spas and thermal facilities.

On September 18, 2026, in the Salone d’Onore at the Triennale di Milano, during the official City’Scape Award ceremony, prizes were awarded to projects in the following four categories: S1 – Stadiums & Arenas; S2 – Indoor Sport Facilities; S3 – Outdoor SPORT&PLAY; S4 – Water, Sport & Leisure.

The award presentation and public presentation of the project will take place on November 11 and 12, 2026, during FSB Forum Italy, in the session “SPORT&PLAY’CITY AWARD – Presentation of the projects selected for the FSB Forum Italy Award”, as part of the FSB Forum Italy Congress.
