COS TI26/32 and TI42/50 mobile telescopic grandstands combine the functionality of a retractable grandstand with the flexibility of a fully mobile unit.
The standard models are available from stock, providing a practical solution for additional seating in sports halls and multifunctional venues. COS also offers custom-engineered solutions, within the practical limits of manual operation and movement.
The grandstand is moved, extended and retracted manually, without motorised operation. Fold-down floor protection plates help protect sensitive sports flooring during movement.
When extended, the grandstand provides tiered seating with good visibility and organised access. When retracted, it occupies minimal space and allows the venue to be used for other activities, making it easier to switch between different configurations without permanent modifications to the available space.
COS telescopic grandstands are custom-engineered for sports halls, arenas and multifunctional venues. Capacity, dimensions and seating configurations are tailored to the specific requirements of each project.
The platforms are operated using rigid chain technology, driven by a central gearmotor, ensuring controlled and synchronised opening and closing. Unlike conventional friction-driven systems, this technology does not require additional downward pressure on traction rollers to move the grandstand.
The system operates independently of floor friction, providing a stable and reliable solution even under intensive use.

COS movable telescopic grandstands combine the flexibility of a custom-engineered retractable grandstand with the ability to reposition the entire unit within the venue.
Designed for larger capacities and dimensions, each grandstand is tailored to the building, seating configuration and operational requirements.
Depending on the flooring and application, the complete unit can be repositioned using an air cushion system with a compressor or a custom-designed transport system.
