A drainage geocomposite consisting of a core made by extruding synthetic polypropylene monofilaments—which are tangled and welded at their points of contact—coupled with a filtering geotextile and a polyolefin membrane. To ensure watertightness, the joints are fitted with a butyl seal. The parallel-channel configuration gives the product high compressive strength.
